Sarah (Sea) -they/them- graduated with honours from Algonquin College’s Massage Therapy program in 2004. Since then, they have specialized in almost every facet of massage therapy.
In 2007, Sarah began incorporating hot stones into every treatment. They found that the warmth of the stones gave even the deepest of treatments a soothing feel and designed a new way of incorporating the stones into their massage therapy treatments. Now, along side their other passions, aromatherapy and energy work, they’ve created a beautiful style of treatment that is catered to the individual. Whether it’s a deep tissue/therapeutic treatment, or a softer relaxation focused massage, Sarah’s approach and style of treatment and care, will not only soothe the aches and pains of the physical body, but also address the holistic needs of the person on the table.
Sarah is a proud member of Ottawa’s LGBTQ2 community, Mom of two crazy, loving, vibrant kiddos and one four legged fur-baby. They are currently completing their Aromatherapy training through the Aromahead Institute and have begun studying with the Chesnut School of Herbal Medicine, enrolled in the 1000hr Herbal Immersion Program.
When not in the treatment room, or playing with plants, Sarah can often be found on their yoga mat, and is a certified Forrest Yoga instructor (Forrest Yoga 200hr Foundation YTT with Ana Forrest), Hatha 200hr YTT with Louise Cameron, and Yin and Restorative Yoga teacher (50hr with Mark Laham).
“I love creating treatments and yoga practices that help people let go, feel good, and unwind. I am SO passionate about providing folks with the opportunity to Deeply Rest. I create an environment where everyone feels safe and respected, my treatment- and my yoga room are inclusive, safe spaces.”
